Caesars Sportsbook Launches at Spokane Tribe Casino

Caesars Entertainment has joined forces with the Spokane Tribe of Indians in Washington to launch a fresh retail sportsbook within the Spokane Tribe Casino.

This collaboration will enable patrons of the casino to wager on a wide range of sporting events and contests, and will also introduce new culinary choices.

The initial stage of the new facility’s growth is anticipated to be finished by February 13th, in time for the Super Bowl LVI, providing customers with a completely new sports wagering location.

Spokane Tribe Chairwoman Carol Evans stated, “This alliance is a key element in the evolution of our casino as we finalize our initial phase of expansion.”

Spokane Tribe Casino General Manager Javier De La Rosa added, “We are thrilled to team up with Caesars Sportsbook to present live sports betting at our new sportsbook, employing Caesars’ wagering platform to provide hundreds of ways to bet on sports.

“This partnership also enables us to draw in new types of visitors while providing expanded gaming choices for all players.”

The collaboration follows Washington state’s establishment of new tribal agreements with numerous tribes, including the Spokane Tribe.

These were granted authorization by the U.S. Department of the Interior last September.

In the preceding month, DraftKings obtained market access in Washington state after establishing a retail sports betting collaboration with the Tulalip Tribes in Washington state. FanDuel Group, a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment, partnered with the Squaxin Island Tribe’s Clearwater Casino Resort, while BetMGM forged an agreement with the Puyallup Tribe of Indians to operate retail sports betting at Emerald Queen Casino. Furthermore, International Game Technology (IGT) will provide its PlaySports platform to facilitate sports betting at Angel of the Winds Casino Resort, managed by the Stillaguamish Tribe.

Although Washington state permits retail and on-premises mobile sports betting, online wagering outside of tribal casinos is not allowed.
